About the event
Join Suzanna and Ella on this brand new creative retreat based in the beautiful Moray Firth village of Findhorn. We invite you to explore the creative side of wild swimming, with gentle guidance and encouragement.
Our peaceful location affords an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the coastal landscape and draw inspiration from our surroundings. Accommodation is in the welcoming local pub, with meals at a variety of local hostelries.
The relaxed programme features sea swims and dips, a sauna experience, writing workshops, beach walks, and great local food. There is free time built into the schedule allowing you take part in as much or as little as you wish.

Most of your meals are included in the cost of the trip but there are some that you need to pay for yourselves.
Any walking is gentle in distance and height, with walks being mostly coastal and low level although there might be some short climbs in places. You should have a good baseline fitness but do not need to be an athlete. This is a holiday not a training camp!
Our swims will be in the sea and in freshwater. You should be confident swimming out of your depth and ideally acclimatised to swimming outdoors. The swims are not an opportunity to train or to swim a great distance. Swimmers should be comfortable and confident at swimming breaststroke, and able to tread water. Wetsuits are optional for acclimatised swimmers. If you have no outdoor swimming experience please contact me before booking this holiday.
The holiday has a relaxed programme. You are welcome to sit out a day if you would prefer to explore on your own.
