14-04-2022 BM Early Riser

Before the busy Easter bank holiday begins enjoy some quiet early morning calm at Buttermere. We start with a guided nature walk down to the lake (less than a mile) and swim from a secluded beach. The swim is head-up breaststroke and your time in the water is as long or short as you like, within reason. Afterwards we make our way back to the village for breakfast in a local cafe (breakfast is not included in the price).

You should have prior wild swimming experience to take part in this event. Please contact me if you are unsure. The lakes are still cool at this time of year and swimmers should be acclimatised. Thermal socks and gloves are recommended on this swim and wetsuits are optional. Tow floats are mandatory. A full kit list will be sent out after you have booked your place.
