I am teaming up with fellow swim guide Suzie Whewey to lead an informative day of learning, swimming, and walking.
This session is aimed at swimmers who already have some outdoor experience and would like to push their boundaries to explore wilder swims or longer distances. We will take you from wild swimming novice to open water adventurer!
The will be tons of practical advice based on our combined years of experience, and two opportunities to get in the water. Learn how to safely plan your wild swimming adventures and what to look for in the perfect prospective swim spot. We also bring our extensive knowledge of the outdoors and how to interpret maps and weather forecasts. Heck, Suzie and I might do ourselves out of a job!Â
It is assumed you will have your own equipment, but wetsuits and other accessories can be hired. Refreshments are provided, please bring a packed lunch, drinks bottle, and flask.Â
