Chose the full swim or the shorter option... every swimmer gets a pie and an option of a beer or a soft/hot drink. Dietary requirements can be caterd for with advance notice. 

This year we swim across Bassenthwaite Lake to land on a quiet beach for food and drink. Friends and family are welcome to join us, dogs are very welcome. 

This swim is suitable for swimmers who can swim a mile comfortably and are confident in open water. You pace is not important but you should be able to finish the swim in under an hour, however no swimmer is left behind. A dippers options is available, costing £15.

The swim is a linear point to point swim. We do not return to our start point. Swimmers will need a swim bag to carry their clothes, or a supporter at the finish to meet them. Swim bags are available to hire or purchase.

Before booking this swim please note:

You must be able to confidently swim a minimum of a kilometre (the full swim is 1.6km)

You are comfortable crossing open water

You have swam outdoors in 2019
