Summer Solstice walk and swim - Sunrise

It’s an early start but oh so worth it. We meet at dawn and walk to our swim spot in time for sunrise. Our reward is jewelled waters and sunrise over the northern fells. Our walk is 1.5 miles on a gently climbing track. We pause to see the sun come up over the fells before making our way to the water. There will be ample time for swimming, followed by hot drinks and cake. We return the same way and with any luck our walk will be bathed in sunshine. You will be on our way home by 6.30am. 

The swim is in deep water and not suitable for beginners. Walkers and dogs are very welcome. The walk is at a leisurely pace climbing approx 250m. Tow floats are mandatory for this swim and swimmers should be confident swimming out of their depth. Skins and wetsuits welcome.

Please note: being able to see sunrise is weather dependant. In case of heavy rain or high wind, the swim will go ahead at an alternative location which will be advised in your booking information.
