The Lucky Dip - North West Lakes

For confident wild swimmers and hikers, this is a really wild dip in a secret location in the North West Lakes. You will receive the location after booking, so take a chance and see where this swim walk will take you! 

Before booking,  you should know that we will be walking 7km, with a total ascent of 213m. IThe event lasts between 4-5hrs. In order to take part you should be confident walking on upland terrain and negotiating rocky pathes. You should be confident swimming out of your depth, ideally without a wetsuit to avoid carrying it for long periods but we welcoem all swimmers. The swim is best suited to dippers and bobbers swimming breaststroke. You must be able to tread water. Finally, you should also be able to carry all you need for the walk and swim in a backpack.
