Wild Swimming for Beginners (15th April)

If you've always wanted to give wild swimming a try but aren't sure where to begin, then this session is for you. Jam-packed with practical advice, this half-day introduction to wild swimming is made to give you all the information to safely and confidently start swimming outdoors.

Spaces are limited to keep the group small, which will allow plenty of opportunity for all students to ask questions and get the information they need. There will be both classroom-based sections and swims in a nearby lake so that you get both the knowledge and the experience.  You must be able to swim already: this is not a swimming lesson.

This session is most suitable for first time wild swimmers who have no prior outdoor swimming experience, or very minimal outdoor experience. In this type of session we usually swim breaststroke, and you must be able to tread water. Front crawl swimming…
