Winter Beginners Session

This session takes place in Buttermere and is an in-depth look at swimming in winter. I'm also welcoming swimmers who are keen to get their wild swimming career started and don't mind a bit of cold water. 

This session is aimed at providing the skills and confidence to take on cooler temperatures, deal with adverse conditions and manage your safety. It's suitable for confident beginners with some prior experience, and existing wild swimmers who want more skills to tackle wintery waters. 

All equipment is provided should you need it, and refreshements are included. You will need a packed lunch. 

There are two swims and two short walks during the course of the day, as well as a classroom session that takes place in Buttermere Old School.
