During the pandemic and subsequent cost of living crisis, several of my customers made a generous offer to 'pay it forward' for swims. These swims were available free of charge to those who may not ordinarily be able to afford it due to financial difficulties/low income, or other personal reasons. Several people were able to take up this kind offer and we are delighted to make this a permanent feature.
When you Pay it Forward we will match your payment. The fund is discreetly made available to those who need it either for 100% of their payment or in part payment.
How it works?
- Select an amount to pay into the fund.
- We match your donation into the fund.
- Donations are kept in a Starling bank account 'pot' so they can stay visibly separate from other business income.
- Recipients can either apply by email or use a code on the website to book their place.
- We can't offer anonymous use of the fund as we need participant information before taking part in a swim. However, your use of the fund stays private and only Suzanna Swims will be party to this information.
- The funds can be used in part payment or to cover 100% of the costs.
- Donations do not expire and will stay in the fund till they are claimed.
- At present the fund can be used for day events only.
